When mounting hand guards to your Flexx Handlebars we prefer to use a threaded anchor. The anchor threads into the end of the handlebar for a secure, no hassle fit by simply tapping the inside of the handlebar. The anchor securely bolts the hand guard to the handlebar end. The Nylon Threaded Hand Guard Anchor has proven to exceed all strength demands, and eliminates the possibility of slipping. We're confident once you use a threaded anchor to secure your guards  you won't use anything else.
