This cap is designed to fit most Ford water pump pulley mounting configurations of the Small Block (SBF) and Large Block (FE) engines from the 1960s to the 1990s.  For those running electric fans (not the factory water pump mounted traditional fan), this Cap is a great way to jazz up and secure the pulley on the front of your water pump.

These caps are CNC machined from 5/8" thick 6061 Aluminum rod bar, here in the United States.  The back side of the wheel cap is bored out over 5/8" to clear most alignment studs on the water pump pulley mounting surface.  Due to the nature of machined parts, some tooling marks may be seen.

When the factory manual fan blades are removed and you change to electric fans, the water pump pulley no longer has the security of the fan mounting face to firmly hold the pulley, forcing the four mounting bolts to do all the work.  This can lead to premature stresses on the pulley and can cause failure of the pulley at the mounting surface.

To check for proper fitment, the distance from the center of one bolt to the center of the bolt on the opposite side is 1.75 inches (44.5mm).  It is recommended you check your water pump bolt pattern before ordering.
